Olan is a work platform that brings mail, chat, meetings, calendar, projects and file editing into one app. It grew out of our own team switching between five tools for a single project.
Why Olan?
When design feedback lives in mail, the decision in chat, the file on a shared drive and the deadline in a project tool, nobody knows which one is current.
In Olan these pieces come together around the same people and the same project. Conversation links to the file, the file to its versions, the version to approval.
What we care about
One window
Information gets lost when work is spread across apps. We build Olan to bring it back together.
Legibility
Every screen should show what to do first. We aim for the same legibility in dark and light.
Open standards
Mail, calendar and files in standard formats. Being able to take your data out is a rule, not an option.
Working together
Clients and partners should be part of the project too, with each company’s own space protected.
